Interconnectedness

Interconnectedness Serenity Poem - world image in corner.

Interconnectedness,

Grant me the serenity

To accept the things I cannot change;

Courage to change the things I can;

And wisdom to know the difference.

Living one day at a time;

Enjoying one moment at a time;

Accepting hardships as the pathway to peace;

Taking, as Interconnectedness does, this complex world

As it is, not as I would have it;

Trusting that I can perceive goodness and rightness,

Even as I surrender to Complexity;

So that I may be reasonably happy in this life

And supremely happy with All

Forever and ever in the next.

Amen.

About the author

Brianna, like most of her peers in middle-age, is still trying to figure it out. While it does get better, it never seems to get simple. There will be a mix of spirituality exploration, health struggles, and among all the randomness, also determining what she wants to do with her one and precious life (still and forever).
